# Accounts and product questions

Wallet accounts, collateral choices, fees, points, and transaction results

Your connected wallet determines the balances, positions, and points shown in Hann Finance. Switching wallets changes the account you are viewing. Disconnecting the wallet ends the app connection; the on-chain positions remain in place.

## Find your account and positions

1. Connect your wallet and check the account and network.
2. Open the account menu to access **Dashboard**, **Point**, or the account's block explorer page.
3. Use Dashboard to view your borrowing, Earn, staking, and market positions.
4. Open a position to add collateral, repay debt, withdraw, or claim assets.

A Trove's NFT and Trove ID identify its CDP position. A wallet can have multiple Troves. Each Trove belongs to one collateral branch and records its own debt and interest rate.

## Which collateral does USDHN borrowing use?

The CDP has separate branches for KAIA, HNKAIA, and EarnUSDT.

| Asset selected in the app | Collateral held by the route |
| ------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| KAIA | Wrapped KAIA, or WKAIA, deposited through the KAIA route. |
| HNKAIA | Shares of the multi-asset KAIA vault. |
| EarnUSDT | Yield-bearing USDT vault shares, with the route's wrapper used for CDP collateral. |

Each branch has its own collateral ratio requirements, price feed, Trove contracts, and Stability Pool. Branch status determines which actions are available. The [contract reference](/developers/smart-contracts.md) identifies the network and contracts used by each deployment.

## How does USDHN target $1?

Borrowing creates USDHN against collateral. Repayment and redemption burn USDHN.

A redemption exchanges USDHN for collateral at the protocol's valuation, minus the redemption fee. When the market price is below that redemption value, the difference creates an incentive to buy and redeem USDHN. A price above $1 creates an incentive to mint and sell it. Market liquidity, fees, and protocol conditions affect both routes.

USDHN is used for Earn deposits, swaps, liquidity provision, and redemptions. [USDHN and Earn](/protocol/usdhn-and-earn.md) explains deposits; [redemptions](/protocol/redemptions-and-risk.md) explains the collateral exchange.

## What costs appear before signing?

| Action                          | Costs and conditions                                                                                   |
| ------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Wallet transaction | Network gas paid in KAIA. An approval and the following action can be separate transactions. |
| USDHN borrowing | The selected annual interest rate and the applicable upfront fee. Interest increases outstanding debt. |
| Lending-market borrowing | The selected market's borrowing rate, which follows utilization and its rate model. |
| Swap or LP operation | The pool's fees, expected output, slippage limit, and deadline. |
| HNKAIA redemption or vault exit | The selected exit route's fee, conversion rate, and available assets. |
| Bridge | Route fees, source-chain gas, destination-chain requirements, and the quoted arrival amount. |

The transaction preview uses the selected asset and route. A swap's slippage limit sets its minimum accepted output; it does not set the token's future price.

## View your points

Open **Point** from the account menu, or select **My Points** on Dashboard.

The page shows your total points, global rank, and a calculation breakdown. The leaderboard supports wallet-address lookup.

| Component | Activity used in the calculation |
| --------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Borrow | Active USDHN debt and its annual interest rate. |
| Earn | USDHN deposits and the interest distributed through Stability Pools. |
| Swap | Supported USDT-to-USDHN swaps and their fee amounts. |
| Boost | The multiplier applied to that day's base points. |

Points and rankings update daily. Confirming a wallet transaction updates its on-chain result first; the points total changes after daily processing.

## Read a transaction's result

* **Approval** authorizes token spending by the named contract.
* **Signature** authorizes the message or transaction shown by the wallet.
* **Pending** means the transaction has been submitted and is awaiting a receipt.
* **Success** means the receipt confirms the transaction. Account history and points can update later.
* **Failure** means the action did not complete. A previous approval remains until it expires or is revoked.

For bKAIA unstaking, inspect the tickets and processed amount after the transaction. A request can open tickets for part of the requested amount, or open none. The remaining shares stay in the wallet and require another request. KAIA becomes claimable after the tickets are ready.

A bridge's source receipt confirms the source-chain action. Destination delivery has its own status and transaction.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.hann.finance/overview/general.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
